Hi Kelly,

Thanks so much for checking out my blog.

Don't feel stupid! When I was new to the program, I used to beat myself up for small losses, too. But as I began to realize that eating right and exercising were things I'd have to for the rest of my life in order to maintain my weight loss, it dawned on me that there was really no need to rush.

I can't control what the scale says, but I CAN control how well I stick to the program - one week that might mean a 2 pound loss, and the next week I may end up with a loss of .2, but as long as I know I'm doing the best I can, that's fine by me.

You're so right...I didn't gain this weight in one week, and I sure can't expect to take it off in a week, either!

Best of luck on your journey - keep me posted on how you're doing! Feel free to follow me on Twitter: @jenniferlnelson

Wow. I feel stupid saying this, but I've never thought of it that way. I beat myself up if the scale doesn't show more than a 2 pound loss, but what you are saying it so true. We all want it overnight and we know that can't happen. From now on I am celebrating every ounce too! Thanks!!!
